Mutton Kunna β Eid ka Asli Taste
Eid-ul-Azha par qurbani ke gosht se agar koi dish sabse zyada demand mein hoti hai, to wo hai Mutton Kunna. Ye dish asal mein Chiniot, Punjab se aayi hai jahan ise mitti ke bartan (kunna handi) mein banaya jata tha. Aaj kal hum stove ya pressure cooker mein bhi isay aasani se bana sakte hain β magar taste wahi lajawab!
Ajzaa (Ingredients):
Gosht ke liye:
- Mutton (hada walay tukray) β 1 kilo
- Desi ghee ya cooking oil β 1 cup
- Pyaaz β 2 adad (bareek kati hui)
- Adrak lehsan ka paste β 2 tablespoon
- Dahi β 1 cup (phenta hua)
- Haldi β 1 teaspoon
- Laal mirch powder β 2 tablespoon (apne taste ke mutabiq)
- Dhania powder β 1 tablespoon
- Namak β zaiqe ke mutabiq
- Garam masala β 1 teaspoon
- Kali mirch β aadha teaspoon
- Bhuna hua atta (gehun ka) β 1 tablespoon
- Pani β 6 se 8 cup
Garnish ke liye:
- Hara dhania (kata hua)
- Hari mirch (lambi kati hui)
- Adrak ke lambi kati hui sticks
- Lemon wedges
Banane ka tareeqa:
π₯ Step 1: Gosht Bhunain
Ek bari handi ya degchi mein ghee ya tel garam karein. Pyaaz daal ke golden brown hone tak bhunain.
Phir adrak-lehsan paste daal ke ek minute tak bhunain.
Ab mutton daal ke high flame par achi tarah se bhunain jab tak rang tabdeel na ho jaye.
πΆοΈ Step 2: Masalay daalein
Ab haldi, laal mirch, dhania powder, namak aur kali mirch daal ke mix karein.
Dahi dheere dheere daalein aur cook karein jab tak tel alag na ho jaye.
π°οΈ Step 3: Dum par rakhein
6β8 cup pani daal kar dhak dein aur halki aanch par 2 ghante tak pakne dein.
Kabhi kabhi chammach se halki si hilatey rahain.
πΎ Step 4: Gravy gaadhi karein
Ek tablespoon bhuna hua atta thode se paani mein gholein aur curry mein daal dein.
10β15 minute aur pakne dein taake curry thick ho jaye.
πΏ Step 5: Garnish karein aur serve karein
Aakhir mein garam masala chhidkein.
Upar se hara dhania, hari mirch, adrak aur lemon lagayein.
Pro Tips:
- Agar mitti ka kunna handi available ho to usi mein pakayein β asli maza wahi deta hai.
- Desi ghee istamaal karein to dish aur bhi rich ban jati hai.
- Saath mein serve karein khameeri roti ya naan, ek side mein zeera raita ho to baat ban jaye!

Eid-ul-Azha par jab kitchen se kunna ki khushboo aati hai, to mehsoos hota hai ke Eid waqai shuru ho gayi hai.
